What is Darts Canterbury Inc?

For decades, the majority of darts competition in Christchurch and Canterbury has been centred around the chartered clubs. Recognising the need for an organisation to oversee the darts sections of these clubs and ensure consistent rules and standards, the Darts Canterbury (formerly Canterbury Combined Chartered Clubs Darts Association) was formed in 1959.

Now operating as Darts Canterbury Incorporated, we continue that legacy. Our executive is responsible for organising events like the Christchurch Winter Competition and the South Island Championships, as well as overseeing the grading of darts players throughout the region.

We also manage relationships with the New Zealand parent body (Clubs New Zealand) and ensure that Canterbury players meeting the required standard are able to compete at national and international levels.
